Seven members met at the Das Dutch Houses to plan 2016-2017 year.
Tentative meeting places and activities are as follow:
September 14, 2016, Wednesday – Meeting at East Fairfield Methodist Church; the program will be Vicki McGee who will talk about starting and running a business from a woman’s perspective.
October 13, 2016, Thursday - Meeting at Catalpa Groves Farm; program will be a fun night out with our children or grandchildren, a hay ride, picking pumpkins and Craig Mercer will talk about farming. Please do not bring children if it is raining. Officers will bring desserts. Members will bring hat, mittens, scarves, and socks to be given to needy children in the area.
November 15, 2016, Tuesday-Meeting at Leetonia Library; there will not be a program. Each member is to bring a guest who may want to become a member. We will be socializing and talking about Delta Kappa Gamma with our guests. Sharon Walker will bring sandwiches and Jackie Mercer will bring chips and drinks.
December 14, 2016, Wednesday-East Palestine Presbyterian Church; Jackie will check to see if Crestview High School Choir can sing Christmas songs. The members of the church will provide the meal.
March 15, 2017, Wednesday-Das Dutch House; a representative from Hospice House to come in to talk about the work they do for the people at the end of their life. Members will bring travel size toiletries that Hospice can have available for family members when they are staying with their loved ones. (Shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, disposable razors, combs, and mouthwash.)
April 11, 2017, Tuesday-Meeting at Inverness Hall, Salineville, Ohio, Willie Colman will speak to the group about personal safety.
May 6, 2017, Saturday- Luncheon location TBA: we will celebrate Founders Day and recognize our members.​

Pam will check to see if Vickie McGee is available to speak for the September meeting.
Georgia will see if East Fairfield Methodist Church is available for the September meeting.
Linda will talk with Sandy to see if the Wellsville Presbyterian Church is available.
Jackie will check to see if the speaker from Hospice will be available and where she will be coming from.
Jackie will check with Mr. Bable to see if the Crestview High School Choir is available to be the entertainment for our Christmas gathering.

Linda will remind the members that they can have the newsletter sent to them via US Postal System or by email or both. She will also be reminding people that we are up-dating the Yearbook, please make sure all of your information is up to date.
