Officer Present: Ann Hall, Linda Lipp, Amy Johnson, and Pam Todd. Other peoples at the meeting were Gayle Noel, Sharon Walker, Georgia Farmer, Mary Lou Hays, and Nancy Dicken.
Guest: Veronica Kotel; possible new member
Amy Johnson gave the invocation. The group ate lunch provide by themselves. After eating Ann Hall called the meeting to order.
Old Business
The matter of the Oct. 15, 2014 DKG County Council Dinner was discussed.

Baskets with a list of the all items need to be brought to the September meeting
New Business
Evelyn Thompson requested Gayle Noel to bring up having one person responsible for submitting news releases to the local newspapers and taking photos of activities during meetings. The suggestion was discussed. Sharron Walker made a motion to have Gayle Noel take on the responsibility of publicity which was seconded by Mary Lou Hays. The motion passed. The position will be for two years, 2014-2016.
Veronica Kotel was brought to the meeting by Ann Hall to observe what we do. Veronica, Ronnie, is thinking about joining DKG. A motion was made by Gayle Noel to except her as a new member Mary Lou Hays seconded it.
Cards were signed for Kathryn Spillman and Charmaine Lamoncha. Kathryn had fallen and during the check up a blood clot was found. Charmain is in the process of fighting her second bought of cancer.
Dues are $70.00 for the year which can be made in two payments. One payment in September the second one in October.
Next meeting will be September 9, 2014 at Camp Frederick, Rodgers, Ohio. The members will bring a covered dish.
Amy Johnson made the motion to adjourn the meeting, and Linda Lipp seconded it.
After Meeting Meeting
After the meeting was adjourned, Nancy Dicken arrived. A discussion started about what our service project for the coming year should be.
Ideas that were discussed were:
Making blankets for young adults who are leaving the Children Service Program due to their age.
Making bags for personal items for children who are new to the Foster Care Program.
Provide items to be put into bags that will be made by Georgia Farmers’ quilt club.
