Alpha Iota Chapter
October 14, 2015
President Ann Hall welcomed the members to the October meeting of Alpha Iota Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma.
The Minutes were read with Nancy Dicken making the motion to approve the Minutes as read and Sandy Forbes seconding the motion. There is $5638.90 in the checking account and $1338.90 in the savings account. Maralyn Porter made the motion to accept the treasure’s report, Loretta Davidson second the motion.
Members where reminded that dues need to be paid in full by October 30, 2015. The members signed a birthday card for Kathryn Spillman who will be 100 years old on November 3, 2015. The members also welcomed Vickie Garrett, who was visiting.
After the conclusion of the meeting Jenell Martin, of Mercer’s Catalpa Grove Farm, directed the group in making succulent fairy gardens. A wonderful time was had by all who attended.
The next meeting will be on November 12, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Columbiana Library. The speaker will be Dick Zitto. The members are to bring appetizers and drinks.
